Prof Vishal Singh Patyal is a faculty in Decision Sciences Area at Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV). He is a Fellow [PhD] in Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (formally NITIE, Mumbai). Prof. Patyal has more than ten years of work experience in academia and Industry. Before joining IIMV, Vishal was associated with NTPC School of Business, Noida (Mentored by IIMA) and NICMAR University, Pune Campus. He has taught courses at post graduate levels like Quantitative Techniques, Managerial Statistics, Quality Management, Operations Management, and Supply Chain Management. Prof. Patyal's research interest includes Sustainable Operations and Supply Chain, Energy management, Multi-Criteria Decision Making, and Statistical Modeling. Prof. Patyal has published his work in scholarly peer-reviewed international journals and conferences of repute. Prof. Patyal is actively involved in executive training programs and has conducted corporate and academic training programs as Program Director and Resource Person for companies like NTPC Ltd, DRDO-NSTL, NAD, TEQIP.
